Why Vaccinations Are Being Mandated: Health Minister Explains
Why are vaccinations being mandated? In response to this question, Armenia's Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan wrote on her Facebook page: “No one is being forced to get vaccinated, although such regulation exists in our laws and can be applied while adhering to the conditions set by law. We are creating various filters to curb the spread of infection and prevent severe cases and death in case of illness. Masks, hand sanitization, testing, vaccinations, and maintaining social distance are all aimed at this. We want to ensure that individuals do not transmit the virus to their employees or citizens.”
