Charchyan's Condition Deteriorates Sharply, Hospitalized

Armen Charchyan, a member of the National Assembly from the "Hayastan" alliance and currently imprisoned, has seen a sharp deterioration in his health and has been hospitalized. This was reported on the Facebook page of his lawyer, Erik Aleksanyan.

His post reads as follows: "Just now, Professor Armen Charchyan’s health condition has sharply worsened in the 'Vardashen' Penitentiary Institution of the RA Ministry of Justice, due to his severe diabetes, and he has been transferred to the 'Kanaker-Zeytun' medical center in the diabetes department. I insist that the illness diagnosed in Armen Charchyan is incompatible with imprisonment, and the professor should be released immediately."
