Nine People Die from Coronavirus in One Day in Armenia, 423 New Cases Reported

As of September 5, Armenia has reported 423 new cases of coronavirus infection, bringing the total number of infected individuals to 245,025, according to the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia.

In one day, seven citizens have died as a result of the virus, with the total number of deceased now at 4,911. Additionally, there were two deaths registered among patients infected with coronavirus due to other illnesses. The total number of such deaths as of September 5 stands at 1,164.

In total, nine individuals have died in the last day. The overall number of deaths has reached 6,075.

In terms of recoveries, there were 377 individuals who recovered in one day, bringing the total number of recoveries to 229,113, while the number of actively treated patients is currently 9,837.

During the past day, 5,761 tests have been conducted, and in total, 1,572,855 tests have been performed to date.
