Participation in Quarterly Gatherings Without Smartphones: Ministry of Defense Statement

From August 25 to November 25, 2021, reservists of the first group registered in the first category, including privates, sergeants, and officers, who are participating in quarterly training gatherings, are considered soldiers during the period of these gatherings, according to the requirements of the RA Law on "Military Service and Status of Servicemen." Therefore, they are obliged to adhere to the restrictions stipulated by legislative and other legal acts throughout the duration of the gatherings.

The Ministry of Defense informs and urges participants of the quarterly gatherings that, among these restrictions, they should not carry smartphones operating on any operating system, as well as other types of phones capable of photography, location tracking, or internet connectivity during the gatherings.
