Turkey's Consul General Passes Away in St. Petersburg
Turkey's Consul General in St. Petersburg, Mehmet Ferhan Yorulmaz, has passed away today.
According to the TASS agency, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu announced this via his Twitter page.
“Unfortunately, today we lost our esteemed colleague, Consul General Mehmet Ferhan Yorulmaz in St. Petersburg,” wrote the Turkish minister.
The cause of the diplomat's death has not been disclosed.
