Lithuania, Austria, and Romania's Foreign Ministers Arrive in Armenia Tomorrow; Pashinyan Issues Instructions
Nikol Pashinyan has signed a decision regarding the visit of the foreign ministers of EU member states to the Republic of Armenia. According to Article 7, Part 5 of the Law on the Structure and Activities of the Government of the Republic of Armenia, in connection with the visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania Gabrielius Landsbergis, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Austria Alexander Schallenberg, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania Bogdan Aurescu to the Republic of Armenia on June 25, 2021:
- The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia and the head of the State Protocol Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia are instructed to: 1) prepare the agenda for the visit and ensure the implementation of events in accordance with protocol during the guests' stay in Armenia; 2) arrange accommodation for the delegation members in a hotel and provide them with meals; 3) ensure the service of guests at the official delegation lounge of the Zvartnots International Airport.
- The Acting Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia is instructed to ensure the presence of the Honor Guard during the protocol events as per the request submitted by the State Protocol Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
- The Chief of Police of the Republic of Armenia is instructed to provide traffic police escort personnel according to the request submitted by the State Protocol Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
- The Head of the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia is instructed to ensure the security of the guests during their stay in Armenia and provide escort personnel as necessary.
- The Acting Minister of Finance of the Republic of Armenia is instructed to cover the expenses related to the accommodation of the aforementioned delegation during their stay in the Republic of Armenia, as well as the organization and holding of protocol and other events specified in the visit program, from the funds allocated in the state budget of the Republic of Armenia for receiving foreign delegations, in accordance with the reports submitted by the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, and the State Protocol Service.
