EU Should Demand Azerbaijan Withdraw Troops from Armenia: Dutch Parliament
The Dutch Parliament has adopted a resolution with a significant majority calling on the government to work towards having the European Union demand that Azerbaijan immediately withdraw its troops from Armenian territory. The Armenian Embassy in the Netherlands reports that the resolution states, in particular, that, 'The House, after listening to discussions and noting that Azerbaijani troops have invaded Armenian territory with the aim of preventing a potential escalation of the conflict, calls on the government to insist in the (European) Council to join French President Macron's demand that Azerbaijan immediately withdraw its troops.'
