“They are trying to tear apart our Home - Artsakh, Syunik, Gegharkunik, and now they are openly hinting at Tavush - Tavush. Try your bleak and unfortunate fate, and Tavush will become your graveyard, of both internal and external evil, and our dream of a Powerful, Victorious, Eternal and complete ARMENIA will prevail,” wrote Bishop Bagrat, the head of the Tavush Diocese, on his social media page. He added that “SPIRITUAL ARMENIA MUST DEFEAT THE NEW ARMENIA…”

It should be noted that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is preparing to sign a new document, which also includes the surrender of five villages in Tavush to Azerbaijan.
