Goris Deputy Mayor on Black Lake Negotiations
As of now, there are no changes; the circumstances reported at noon remain unchanged. Azerbaijani forces are present in the Black Lake area, effectively placing the lake under their control. This was stated by Irina Yolyan, the Deputy Mayor of Goris, in an interview with ArmDaily.am.
“There has been no information about any changes until late in the evening. I know that negotiations have taken place, but we have no updates. The negotiations with the peacekeepers have essentially yielded no results,” she said.
When asked about Prime Minister convening a meeting of the Security Council at this time, she responded that there should be no assumptions regarding this matter. “Time will tell; let’s hope everything will be fine, and we will wait for developments,” she added.
