Pashinyan Highlights His Biggest Shortcoming and Achievement in Three Years
Acting Prime Minister and Prime Minister candidate Nikol Pashinyan considers his greatest shortcoming during his three years of governance to be the 44-day war and the developments around the Nagorno-Karabakh issue. He stated this during a special session of parliament in response to an inquiry from independent MP Sergey Bagratyan.
“Our biggest problem is the 44-day war and the developments that occurred regarding the Nagorno-Karabakh issue. Especially after the 44-day war, I constantly revisit 2018 and try to reorganize everything from that time. In my opinion, by April 2018, we had already crossed the point of no return regarding the Nagorno-Karabakh issue, and that is unequivocal,” said Pashinyan.
The acting Prime Minister noted that his greatest achievement is that the citizens of Armenia feel they are the masters of their country. “I consider my greatest achievement to be that the citizens of the Republic of Armenia feel they are the owners of their country, and that was ultimately the goal for which the non-violent, velvet, popular revolution was carried out in 2018. That goal has been achieved,” Pashinyan emphasized.
