Damage Reported in Several Communities of Shirak Region Due to Rain and Strong Winds

The Shirak Regional Administration reports that several communities in the Shirak region have suffered damage due to rain and strong winds on the evening of May 9. Today, Shirak Governor Hovhannes Harutyunyan, along with the heads of the responsible subdivisions of the regional administration, visited the communities of Geghanist, Getap, and Nor Kyanq to assess the situation.

The governor spoke with representatives from the communities to clarify the extent of the damages incurred. It should be noted that in addition to the aforementioned communities, community commissions are also working in several other areas of the region in collaboration with the officials from the regional administration. After the completion of these efforts, the reports on the damages will be finalized and sent to the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia.
