Azerbaijan Will Hinder Regional Unblocking, Says Nikol Pashinyan

Azerbaijan will obstruct the unblocking of the region with its destabilizing stance. This belief was expressed today by Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a Q&A session with cabinet members in the National Assembly.

“I believe that Azerbaijan will continue to maintain a destabilizing position and will do everything possible through various statements, sowing absurd fears among our public so that this unblocking does not take place,” he stated.

Pashinyan also emphasized that the unblocking and the opening of communication routes should be a primary issue for Armenia. Regarding Armenia's strategic direction, according to Pashinyan, the cornerstone is ensuring security with the participation of the Armenian-Russian joint military group and air defense system.
