Tajikistan's Military Begins Firing Towards Kyrgyz Territory, Residential Homes Targeted
The Kyrgyz National Security Border Service has reported that Tajik military forces began firing in the direction of Kyrgyz territory on May 1, according to Armenpress.
It has been noted that residential homes are among the targets of the gunfire.
Previously, the border service had issued a statement regarding the movement of military equipment from Tajikistan near the border.
It is worth reminding that a period of mourning has been declared in Kyrgyzstan on May 1-2 in memory of those who lost their lives during the armed conflict at the Tajik border. The respective decree was signed by President Sadyr Japarov.
