Investigative Committee Head Awarded Over 8 Million Drams in 2019, Wife Received Land as Gift

The head of the Investigative Committee, Hayk Grigoryan, has awarded himself over 8 million drams in 2019 while his wife, Silva Grigoryan, received a parcel of land as a gift that same year.

According to information obtained by Tert.am from the declarations of Hayk Grigoryan and his wife, it is revealed that Silva Grigoryan purchased an apartment in Russia, along with a villa and a plot of land, which she received as a gift and inheritance.

Comparing the declarations, it becomes clear that in 2017, Silva Grigoryan acquired 50,000 USD, which was also present at the end of the tax year. That year, her annual salary amounted to 1,920,000 drams. What happened to the 50,000 USD in 2018 is not clear from the declaration; however, her annual salary increased by 9 million drams, reaching 10 million drams.

In the 2019 declaration, Silva Grigoryan reported a plot of land in Avan, which she co-owns and received as a gift, as well as a villa inherited in Erebuni. In 2019, she purchased an apartment in Adler City, Sochi, Krasnodar Krai, for 900,000 rubles.
