Under What Conditions Can Armenian Citizens Visit Cyprus Without a Negative Test Result?
Cyprus has eased entry requirements for citizens of several countries, including Armenia, stating that vaccinated individuals against COVID-19 can arrive in Cyprus without a negative test result or self-isolation. This information was reported by Armenpress, referencing a statement published on the website of Cyprus's Ministry of Tourism.
Earlier, Cyprus had opened its borders to several countries, including Armenia, Russia, Georgia, Egypt, Serbia, Switzerland, Saudi Arabia, and Ukraine. Moreover, entry requirements vary depending on the classification level of the country based on the COVID-19 situation.
As of May 10, a vaccination certificate will be considered an additional incentive for travelers from the aforementioned countries. It is mentioned that travelers who can certify that they have received the required doses of an authorized vaccine will not need to undergo testing, regardless of their country's classification. Furthermore, they will not be subject to quarantine conditions, meaning no self-isolation will be required even if they come into close contact with an infected person. This facilitation will take effect from the date of fully receiving the vaccine doses.
