State Institutions Occupied with Everything Except Their Core Responsibilities: Abrahamyan
Trust in state institutions has reached a historical low during the post-war period. This was stated by Tigran Abrahamyan, the head of the "Henaket" analytical center, on his Facebook page.
"Especially the low level of trust in institutions responsible for security and their official communications is a threat to security in itself. In conditions of fragile border situations, where various provocations are recorded almost daily in the sectors protected by the NSS border troops, army corps, or defense army, the operational and effective work of state institutions at all levels is critically important. However, the objective situation and frequent inconsistencies in official communications, hiding incidents, and failure to ensure operational efficiency not only occur periodically but also cause serious damage to the process of ensuring information security.
A cursory examination of the messages from the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff shows that this institution has a serious problem distinguishing primary from secondary responsibilities. It is clear that what is directed from "above" also moves through the lower links.
I have the impression that there is a set goal either to cover up the reality or that they still do not realize their responsibilities and statements across various platforms. They then wonder why the public turns to unofficial information, consuming false or incomplete details circulating in unreliable platforms and sources.
There is an informational vacuum, the main culprit of which is the relevant institutions that are occupied with everything except their core responsibilities.
