Shurnukh Village Head Unaware of Prime Minister's Visit
The head of Shurnukh village, Hakob Arshakyan, stated that he did not meet with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on April 20. He informed 24News that he was not aware of the Prime Minister's visit.
"I did not know he was coming, and I did not meet him. I only know that he visited two houses. The visits were made randomly, meaning it was not predetermined which houses he would enter," he conveyed.
When asked about the reception he received or what he discussed with the villagers, Arshakyan responded, "I can't say anything about the reception; I don't know. I only know that to the residents of one of the houses, who are displaced persons, he said that if they had collected the state aid provided, they could have purchased a house."
It should be noted that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan made an unannounced visit to Syunik yesterday evening. According to media reports, in addition to Shurnukh, he also visited Kapan. The Prime Minister's visit to Syunik is ongoing.
