Photos: Nikol Pashinyan Visits Defense Ministry No. N Military Unit in Syunik
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan visited the Defense Ministry No. N military unit as part of his visit to the Syunik region. This was reported on the Prime Minister's Facebook page by his spokesperson Mane Gevorgyan.
Specifically, she noted, “The head of government toured the military unit, familiarized himself with the operational situation and the social conditions of the soldiers. The head of government spoke with the soldiers, thanked them for their selfless service, and wished them a peaceful service.”
Nikol Pashinyan also toured the canteen, checked the menu, and visited the barracks.
Earlier, it was reported that on April 20, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan traveled to the Syunik region under strict secrecy. Information about his visit was kept confidential, and security forces were informed at the last minute, with even the road police being notified only half an hour prior to accompany the prime minister.
Last night, Pashinyan had visited the Shurnukh community. Reports in the media suggest that residents received him with discontent and cold indifference. Today, Pashinyan faced protests and insults in Agarak, Meghri, and Kapan.
It is worth noting that the day before, there were sudden changes in the heads of police in Syunik, including the police chief, his deputy, and the police chiefs of Goris and Kapan. With the exception of one community, the leaders from all communities in Syunik publicly demanded Pashinyan's resignation.
