Pashinyan to Resign Tomorrow, Leaving Politics Behind: 'Haykakan Zhamanak'
The daily newspaper 'Haykakan Zhamanak' reports that a well-informed source has disclosed that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will resign tomorrow. According to our sources, Pashinyan will announce that he is stepping away from politics and will not participate in the upcoming early parliamentary elections.
We learned that he held a meeting with his team the day before, where he made it clear that they should not rely on him, as he does not wish to take part in any political processes anymore.
Members of the 'Civil Contract' party attempted to persuade Pashinyan, but he remained unyielding. Pashinyan has also declined to share his plans for the future.
