Minister Says It Is Essential to Uphold Safety Rules Despite Not Wearing a Mask

Armenia's Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan stated that everyone must do their utmost to prevent restrictions. "This means we need to protect safety rules as much as possible," he emphasized.

The minister acknowledged that he understands restrictions are detrimental to the economy and he is opposed to them since he is responsible for economic matters. "However, we must also maintain balance. If we see that the situation becomes extreme and the healthcare system cannot manage the disease, we must consider the possibility of going into restrictions. I believe, however, that we can avoid such developments," he remarked.
