June 20 is Acceptable for Early Parliamentary Elections, Says Marukyan

Dear compatriots, I have just had a phone conversation with Prime Minister Pashinyan and discussed the organization of early parliamentary elections. This was reported by the head of the Armenian National Assembly's "Enlightened Armenia" faction, Edmon Marukyan, on his Facebook page.

"In response to our demand for the organization of elections in a short timeframe, the Prime Minister suggested considering June 20 as the election date, with a deadline. I mentioned that it is essential to hold the elections in the near future and not to postpone them until autumn or 2023. Therefore, I expressed that June 20, 2021, is acceptable for us as the date for early parliamentary elections," Marukyan wrote.
