“General and Chief, I await your orders” - Reserve Officer Abgar Poghosyan

Reserve officer Abgar Poghosyan wrote on his Facebook page: “I, Abgar Poghosyan, as a reserve officer, from this moment consider myself directly subordinate to the Chief of General Staff. General and Chief, I await your orders.”

It is reminded that on February 25, the Armed Forces of Armenia issued a statement demanding the resignation of the Prime Minister and the government while simultaneously warning against using force against the people, whose children died defending the Homeland and Artsakh.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan described the statement of the General Staff as a “coup attempt” and announced that he has decided to dismiss the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia and has sent a proposal to the president.
