Baku is Trying to Turn the Issue of Prisoners of War into a Bargaining Chip: Nikol Pashinyan
Unfortunately, Baku is trying to turn the issue of prisoners of war into a bargaining chip. This is incorrect because the trilateral statement includes a provision for the immediate exchange of prisoners. This was stated by the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, in an interview with 1in.am.
In response to a journalist's question regarding Armenia's fulfillment of all commitments while Azerbaijan does not, and why Armenia continues to uphold its commitments, the Prime Minister said: “We must do everything to prevent the processes from reaching a deadlock. We continue to work on these issues until we see a real opportunity to achieve tangible results.”
