Armen Tatoyan Compiles Hatred Speech by Azerbaijani Cultural and Sports Figures Against Armenians

Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan has presented the words of Azerbaijani cultural and sports figures regarding Armenians:

1. “Karabakh will be cleansed of the satanic filth of Armenian fascism. These Armenian fascists are devoid of honor and deserve to be exterminated,” – Azerbaijani People's Artist.
2. “Armenians are a race, an ethnos that destroys itself. They are very pitiful and ungrateful creatures. Armenians are such liars, cowards, pretentious, and two-faced people that it is impossible to convey in words,” – Azerbaijani People's Artist.
3. “This Karabakh war is the beginning of the end for the Armenian people of the world, built on lies, duplicity, and treachery,” – Azerbaijani People's Artist.
4. “Our enemy is dishonorable, a deceiver, and unworthy. They are barbarians, terrorists driven by fascist ideas of their superiority,” – Azerbaijani People's Artist.
5. “Armenians are nothing and not humans, they have hidden like rats in their burrows,” – Honored Artist of Azerbaijan.
6. “The child of a prostitute will become a prostitute too. They are all foxes. When the right time comes, they will show their true colors,” – A member of the Writers' Union of Azerbaijan commenting on an elderly Armenian woman.
7. “The Armenian people are truly sick. The medicine is hopeless, this is not treatable. It’s chronic Armenian diarrhea,” – Winner of the “Voice of Turkey” song contest.
8. “Do not call Armenians prostitutes. A prostitute sells herself, while an Armenian grabs others,” – Lecturer at the State University of Culture and Arts of Azerbaijan.

These findings recorded by the office of the Human Rights Defender of Armenia demonstrate that the propaganda of hatred against Armenians and hostility toward the Armenian people in Azerbaijan has deeply rooted origins and significant public support. During this war, the torture and torment of Armenians by Azerbaijani soldiers had deep-seated reasons and occurred solely due to the ethnical identity of Armenians. The details are reflected in the joint report of the Human Rights Defenders of Armenia and Artsakh, prepared based on the results of continuous monitoring during the war from September to November 2020.
