An Education Program for Disabled Veterans in the IT Sector Will Be Implemented
The Minister of High-Tech Industry, Hakob Arshakyan, stated at today’s government meeting that one of the most important directions for servicemen with disabilities, particularly those with mobility issues, could be acquiring education in the IT sector.
“There are already private companies that have announced such programs and expressed their willingness to conduct additional educational programs for re-specialization free of charge. The ministry also has such re-specialization programs, and there is a special initiative directed towards our disabled veterans, which we will soon announce. This will create opportunities for thousands of people to receive education in the IT sector, ranging from beginner to more advanced training. They will also be able to offer their services in the market and earn money,” the minister noted.
