Iran Expresses Willingness to Support Economic Projects with Armenia
The Ambassador of Armenia to Iran, Artashes Tumanyan, met with the Deputy Minister for Economic Diplomacy of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Seyed Rasoul Mohajer, on January 19. According to Armenpress, the Armenian embassy in Iran reports that during the meeting, the Armenian ambassador presented the current state of economic relations between Armenia and Iran. Specifically, they discussed issues related to infrastructure projects, trade, and investments.
The parties explored new trends, challenges, and opportunities for the development of bilateral and multilateral economic relations in the context of the realities created after the Nagorno-Karabakh war. Deputy Minister Mohajer expressed the Iranian Foreign Ministry's willingness to support the implementation of economic projects and plans between Armenia and Iran.
