Edmon Marukyan Meets with the Prosecutor General of Armenia to Discuss Davtyan's Moscow Visit
Edmon Marukyan, the leader of the 'Enlightened Armenia' parliamentary faction, met today with Prosecutor General Arthur Davtyan, as the MP informed on his Facebook page.
In the post, he stated: “Dear citizens, Today I met with the Prosecutor General of Armenia, Arthur Davtyan. As you know, at the initiative of the Russian Prosecutor General, a trilateral meeting was held in Moscow on January 12, 2021, with the participation of Armenia's Prosecutor General Arthur Davtyan, Azerbaijan's Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev, and Russia's Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov.
It was brought to my attention that during the trilateral meeting, the Armenian Prosecutor General raised the necessity of the prompt implementation of the 8th point of the statement signed on November 9, 2020, regarding the ceasefire. We had discussions with Mr. Davtyan about the results of the aforementioned visit and the agreements reached in Moscow concerning the prompt return of Armenian military captives and other individuals held in Azerbaijan, as well as ensuring their life and health, and upholding their other rights in the meantime.”
