Proposal to Include Yerablur as a Site for Foreign Guests' Visits
Independent MP Arman Babajanyan has proposed to legally grant the Yerablur Military Pantheon the status of a memorial complex and include it in the state protocol of Armenia as an official visiting site for foreign guests. As is well-known, to date, visitors to our country have only visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial.
“The necessity of adopting the proposed project is justified by the fact that a similar logic should also apply to monuments honoring the heroes who sacrificed their lives for the independence of Armenia during the two Artsakh wars,” states the project that was recently submitted for circulation.
This fully fits into the logic of the Armenian government's approach to removing the Armenian Genocide from our foreign policy agenda and within the framework of populism,” writes the newspaper “Hayots Ashkharh”.
