We Urge a Responsible Approach to Work: "Media Defender" to Mane Gevorgyan

Days ago, the press secretary of the Prime Minister, Mane Gevorgyan, made a post regarding Nikol Pashinyan's trip to Moscow. The initial version of the post indicated that issues concerning cargo transportation from the central regions of Armenia to the Syunik Province would be discussed in Moscow.

Numerous concerns were raised online regarding the post, after which Mane Gevorgyan rephrased her statement, adding that the issue of cargo transportation from the central regions of Armenia to Syunik would be discussed in the context of the Nakhchivan railway.

“The Media Defender initiative believes that such a careless approach misleads the media. In fact, after each post, news outlets must follow the history of changes made to the Facebook entry. We urge a responsible approach to work, to think before writing, to orient themselves, and not to mislead the public and the media,” said the "Media Defender."
