Support Programs for Various Target Groups Are Still Ongoing, Says Deputy Minister of Finance
Support programs for various target groups are still ongoing, a process that has not yet concluded, making it premature to discuss the financial expenditures. There will be a report on the execution of the state budget, where detailed information will be presented. This was stated today, January 12, during a conversation with reporters in the Parliament by Deputy Minister of Finance Arman Poghosyan, in response to a question about how much money has been spent and is being spent from the budget due to the aftermath of the war.
When asked how the approximately 53 billion AMD taken from the Armenia Fund has been spent, the deputy minister said, “There was an official publication from the Ministry of Finance, and there has been a comment and explanation from the minister regarding this issue. In the near future, there will be a report on the execution of the budget where all possible answers to questions will be seen. There are procedures for budget executions, deadlines for report submissions, and responsible parties; please wait, it will be summarized and presented.”
Arman Poghosyan denied the information that a crisis has arisen in the distribution of pensions and benefits, which necessitated redirecting funds taken from the Armenia Fund for this purpose, stating, “No, the Ministry of Finance has reported that the management of these funds has been carried out within the priorities and focuses of the unified budgetary process. We do not have problems paying salaries and pensions.”
