Incidents of Carbon Monoxide Poisoning Registered in Stepanakert

On January 9, reports were received from the Republican Medical Center regarding incidents of carbon monoxide poisoning in Stepanakert. It was noted that at 20:10, a resident of Stepanakert, born in 1933, identified as G.A., was admitted to the center due to poisoning.

According to police information, it was determined that G.A. suffered poisoning from carbon monoxide emitted from a gas stove installed in her kitchen around 19:00 on the same day.

Additionally, on January 9, the Republican Medical Center reported to the Stepanakert police that at 22:20, another resident of the city, born in 1989, identified as G.S., was admitted with carbon monoxide poisoning. Furthermore, at 23:20, three other residents aged 2015, identified as A.S., V.S., and E.S. (born in 2018), were admitted to the Arevik Children’s Medical Center from the same apartment.

Investigations revealed that these individuals were poisoned by carbon monoxide emitted from a gas water heater in their kitchen around 22:00 on that day.

The Stepanakert police department is conducting the investigations.
