Turkey Records 75 Earthquakes in the Last Day
The Disaster and Emergency Management Authority of Turkey has reported that after a 5.3 magnitude earthquake on December 27th in the Elazig province (historically known as Kharpurt), there have been 75 subsequent tremors, with the largest measured at 3.7 on the Richter scale, according to Ermenihaber.
The tremors were also felt in neighboring provinces, including Malatya, Tunceli, and Bingol. The epicenter of the initial quake was located at a depth of 15 kilometers. According to preliminary data, there are no reports of human or material losses, although one building has collapsed. A total of 68 individuals have sought medical attention due to worsening health conditions.
