President of Artsakh Participates in Memorial Event for Fallen Soldiers in Janfidah

The President of Artsakh, Arayik Harutyunyan, began his workday in the Armavir region. He was welcomed by the regional governor early in the morning. The purpose of the visit was to pay respects at the graves of the heroes from the region who perished during the 44-day war.

The President participated in a memorial event in the Janfidah community for soldiers who lost their lives from this village during the war. Two of the fallen were awarded state honors, and Rustam Gasparyan was posthumously granted the title of Hero of Artsakh. The mayor of Armavir also announced that Gasparyan was posthumously awarded the title of 'Honorary Citizen of Armavir.'
