New Facts and Photos Released Regarding the Deaths of Dozens of Police Officers in Shushi: 18+
18 + PHOTO. Mediaport continues to publish facts about the tragic circumstances surrounding the deaths of several dozen police officers killed by an enemy drone in Shushi.
“The police officers killed on October 4 were from the Lori, Tavush, and Shirak regions. They were taken to Artsakh under false pretenses, unaware that they were to be sent to the frontline. A few hours after arriving in Shushi, when the police officers were informed that instead of performing volunteer work in Stepanakert, they would have to go to the frontline, a significant backlash ensued, during which the police stated that they had not agreed to go to the front. The incident was reported to Nikol Pashinyan, who urged the police not to allow them to leave Artsakh and, after conducting explanatory work with them, sent them to Jebrayil.
That evening, aware of the movement, the enemy struck the cultural center in Shushi, where more than a hundred police officers were concentrated, some of whom died on the spot,” the source reports.
