Prime Minister Discusses Further Cooperation with Russian Emergency Situations Minister
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation, Evgeny Zininchev. This was reported by the Information and Public Relations Department of the Prime Minister's Office.
The Prime Minister highly appreciated the activities of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in restoring normal life in Nagorno-Karabakh and in providing humanitarian assistance to citizens, expressing gratitude for the effective cooperation with the Armenian side.
Nikol Pashinyan noted that the Armenian government values the continued development of strategic cooperation with Russia, emphasizing Russia's key role in strengthening peace and stability in the region. “We are interested in further developing our cooperation with Russia in all areas, including security, the economy, and humanitarian fields,” the Prime Minister said, deeming it necessary to develop and implement new joint programs in various sectors.
Evgeny Zininchev provided details about the humanitarian activities carried out by the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in Artsakh, mentioning that the transportation of humanitarian cargo and other operations are being conducted without issues, in close cooperation with Armenian partners.
The interlocutors discussed issues related to the full realization of the potential of the Armenian-Russian Humanitarian Center and further cooperation in the field of emergency situations and rapid response.
