Risks of Escalating Conflicts Demand Effective Protection of Russia's Borders, Says Putin

Russian President Vladimir Putin has emphasized the need for more effective protection of Russia's state borders, considering the risks of escalating conflicts in neighboring countries. This was reported by TASS.

“We must strive to protect the state border more effectively, especially given the risks of regional conflicts flaring up near our borders,” Putin highlighted during a visit to the headquarters of the Foreign Intelligence Service.

The President also instructed to pay serious attention to information security, combating extremism and corruption, and crimes in the economic sector.
