«Today is a day of mourning»: Gagik Tsarukyan refused to speak
The protest action demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has begun at Freedom Square. Gagik Tsarukyan, the leader of the Prosperous Armenia faction in the National Assembly, is also present.
“Today is a day of mourning; let it come to an end, and we will answer all questions,” Gagik Tsarukyan said in a conversation with reporters.
When asked if it was appropriate for Nikol Pashinyan to visit the Yerablur military cemetery given that grieving mothers were expressing the opposite demand, the leader of the Prosperous Armenia party responded that answers to all questions would be provided, but not today. “Today is a day of mourning.”
