“Hadrut is no longer under Armenia’s control. These are minor flare-ups that will be resolved and will have no repercussions,” said Russian political scientist Stanislav Tarasov in an interview with the ‘Joghourd’ newspaper, commenting on the developments following the announcement of November 9. At the same time, commenting on the statements made by Ilham Aliyev and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan during the victorious parade, which also threatened Armenia's territorial integrity, Tarasov stated that there can be no talk of new territorial claims against Armenia.
“Azerbaijan is speaking on its behalf regarding territorial claims and also referencing the history of Iran. Tehran has not yet responded to this, but in the coming period, Tehran’s attention may also be directed towards Baku,” he noted. Speaking about the events in Hadrut, the Russian political scientist remarked that unnecessary bloodshed is unwarranted and that such issues should be resolved,” the newspaper writes.
