Search for Fallen Soldiers' Remains Continues in Fuzuli and Jabrayil
The head of the information and public relations department of the Artsakh Ministry of Emergency Situations, Hunan Tatevosyan, provided details to Armenpress regarding the missing soldiers.
"As of today, a total of 892 bodies of fallen soldiers have been discovered. Search operations are currently ongoing again in the direction of Fuzuli and Jabrayil. The decision to involve the relatives in the search operations is also in effect," Tatevosyan elaborated.
Earlier, it was reported that in the combat zones, specifically in the Fuzuli-Jabrayil section, an additional 64 bodies of soldiers have been found as a result of search efforts. As of December 11, the Forensic Medical Service of the Republic of Armenia has conducted forensic examinations on the bodies of 2,996 soldiers who lost their lives due to the war unleashed by Azerbaijan against Artsakh.
To facilitate the identification and recognition of the bodies, a total of 1,816 DNA samples have been collected from relatives since the beginning of the war until December 11, alongside 993 DNA samples from the bodies.
