Communication with One of Our Mobilization Groups in Hin Shen Village Area has Been Disrupted for Nearly Two Days: Shirak Governor's Office

Communication with one of our mobilization groups in the Hin Shen village area of the Berdzor sub-region has been disrupted for nearly two days. This information was provided by the public relations department of the Shirak regional administration in an interview with Tert.am.

“After this communication was lost, Shirak Governor Tigran Petrosyan went there on Monday to familiarize himself with the situation on the ground and to obtain immediate information. The governor returned last night. In Artsakh, he has been informed that there is tension in Hin Shen and surrounding areas, but specifically, there is no communication with one group; however, there is communication with the rest, though tension remains. It has been specifically assured that work is currently being conducted with the Russian side to unblock the roads in that region and to ensure full communication with those on combat duty,” the Shirak governor's office stated, adding that this is all the specific information they have.

When asked about circulating rumors in the press regarding the abduction of community leaders, deputy community leaders, and other officials from Shirak province, they said they know the names of one or two such officials but do not disclose them to prevent those individuals from being targeted. “We target officials when we mention a community leader; we currently do not have the right to name names and do not find it expedient,” said the governor's office.

In response to a clarifying question regarding the number of people involved, they replied, “I cannot say; we cannot disclose it. The Shirak Governor's Office does not have the number and we do not have the right to pass on that information.”
