Border Delimitation Process in Syunik: Armenian Prime Minister
The border delimitation process in Syunik has presented certain challenges. This was stated by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in an interview with Azatutyun today.
“Along the 21-kilometer stretch connecting Goris to Kapan, the road partially goes outside the borders of the Republic of Armenia, and we must ensure the normal operation of that road,” he said.
The Prime Minister also mentioned that the commander of the military corps is continuously present in Syunik Province, and the entire process is being managed by the Armed Forces. According to him, the borders are being delineated based on maps that have existed since Soviet times, specifically those maps that hold de jure legal force.
