9.5 Kilometers of Roads Cleared of Explosive Objects in the Past Day, Russian Defense Ministry
Efforts to clear the territory of Artsakh from explosive objects are ongoing. This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense on their website.
In the past day, 9.5 kilometers of roads have been cleared of explosives. Overall, Russian peacekeeping engineering units have cleared 175 hectares of land, more than 49 kilometers of roads, over 400 residential buildings, and social facilities, and have detected and neutralized around 5,000 explosive devices.
The discovered explosive objects and un detonated munitions are removed and destroyed in designated areas. Munitions that cannot be transported are destroyed on-site, applying all necessary safety measures.
