I Promise That Resigning My Mandate Is A New Step To Serve My Homeland
Former MP Aram Khachatryan wrote on his Facebook page: "Dear compatriots, as I have already informed, I have submitted my resignation from my parliamentary mandate, and the deadline for its approval expires today, but I remain committed to my decision. I want to express my deepest gratitude to the government, the National Assembly staff, the 'My Step' faction, and my opposition colleagues for our joint and effective work. Also, to the people for their trust vote. I promise that resigning my mandate is a new step for me to serve my homeland and my people, which I am sure will be justified. We still have much to do... Let's be united."
Khachatryan had previously mentioned that he would continue his activities in the executive body and, according to some information, he is set to assume the position of Governor of Lori Province.
