Iran Should Support Armenia, Says Iranian MP
An Iranian parliament member has declared that Tehran should have supported Armenia regarding the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, as reported by Iran International.
Mahmoud Ahmadi-Bigash, a member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of Iran's parliament, stated during a legislative session on Sunday that "Iran should put aside its nuances and help Armenia maintain the balance of power in the region." It was noted that Iran remained neutral during the renewed military conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan, while Turkey assisted its ally in fighting against Armenia.
