Azerbaijani Man Detained in Berdavan
An Azerbaijani man who recently appeared in the border community of Berdavan in the Tavush Province has been detained. In response to an inquiry from 'Factinfo', the National Security Service (NSS) reported that the individual, who illegally crossed the state border of Armenia, has been charged under part 1 of Article 329 of the RA Criminal Code for crossing the state border of the Republic of Armenia without the necessary documents or proper authorization.
A request has been submitted by the investigator to the court to select detention as a preventive measure, which has been granted.
