Some Were Provided with Fake 'Checks' Regarding Their Expenditures, Reveals 'Hraparak'
'Hraparak' newspaper reports: 'During the war, some of our compatriots who transferred money to the 'Hayastan' All-Armenian Fund deeply regret having made these transfers, and today many are demanding their money back, but there are no mechanisms for reimbursement.
However, those have found themselves in an even more absurd situation who not only gave money to the fund but also to individuals associated with the army and the war, handing over large cash sums thinking that it would serve to purchase weapons and ammunition; however, most of those funds have been embezzled.
Moreover, some of them were even provided with 'checks' regarding their expenditures, which have turned out to be fake. Now these people do not know how to demand their money back.'
