Rapid Response Teams Deployed to Police Stations by the Ombudsman
Considering a number of reports addressed to the Office of the Human Rights Defender, as well as the results of observations, rapid response teams have been deployed to police stations at the instruction of the Defender. This is reported by the RA Human Rights Defender's Office.
During the visits, private conversations will take place with detained citizens, examining the grounds for their detention and the state of their rights protection, as well as the documents prepared by law enforcement agencies in this regard.
The Office of the Human Rights Defender continues to monitor ongoing protests.
