My Step Party MP Explains Why He Resigned from His Mandate
Aram Khachatryan, a member of the My Step parliamentary faction, announced on his Facebook page: "Dear compatriots, today I have submitted my resignation from the parliamentary mandate. In response to numerous calls from citizens and to avoid various speculations, I inform you that my resignation is solely related to my intention to continue my work in the executive branch. At this moment, I am having various discussions with my colleagues. I will provide more details as soon as there is clarity."
It is noteworthy that Aram Khachatryan has filed a resignation request. Lena Nazaryan, who is performing the duties of the Speaker of the National Assembly, has issued a statement regarding Aram Khachatryan's resignation request.
