1136 Refugees Return to Nagorno-Karabakh with Support of Russian Peacekeepers
With the assistance of Russian peacekeeping forces, 1136 displaced persons have returned to Artsakh in a single day. During the entire peacekeeping operation, more than 36,000 have returned, stated Igor Konashenkov, an official representative of the Russian Defense Ministry, as reported by РИА Новости.
“In one day, another 1136 people have returned to their former places of residence from the territory of Armenia. Throughout the peacekeeping operation, the safe return of more than 36,000 displaced Artsakh residents has been ensured,” he said.
