Turkey is Guilty: Armenian Americans Hold Protest in New York
Armenians living in New York have staged a peaceful protest in Washington Square Park, Manhattan, calling on the U.S. to recognize the independence of Artsakh and to put an end to the cultural genocide perpetrated by Turkey and Azerbaijan. This information was reported on the AGBU Facebook page.
The demonstration was silent, with masks covering the faces of the participants, and placards displaying messages such as “Turkey is Guilty,” “Shame on Azerbaijan,” “150,000 Displaced Armenians,” “Recognize Artsakh,” as well as calls for sanctions against Azerbaijan and Turkey.
